Bengali filmmaker Shibaji Dutta who made his debut with Khelaghar Bandhte Legechi starring Joy Sengupta , Basabdatta Chatterjee and Parthasarathi Deb in 2024 which touched upon the subject of A.I though it was a children ‘s film is stepping into a new chapter of his journey—his much-awaited Bollywood debut. Known for his fearless theatre and independent cinema, he now brings his uncompromising vision to Hindi films with a project that has already stirred excitement across the industry. Slated to begin shooting in early 2026 and featuring Bollywood A-lister actors, the film places politics at its core—not as an abstract game of power, but as a living force that defines the everyday struggles and aspirations of common people.
