Ujjivan SFB Unveils Magnificent 35ft Chandmala Installation at Ahiritola Sarbojonin Durga Puja

With Durga Puja commencing, one of India’s most vibrant festivals that brings communities together through elaborate pandals, beautifully crafted idols of Durga Maa, music, dance, and other cultural celebrations – Ujjivan Small Finance Bank unveiled a 35ft (H) x 10ft (W) Chandmala installation at the Ahiritola, Sarbojonin Durga Puja.

The installation is designed to be the centrepiece of one of North Kolkata’s most iconic pandal, which attracts an estimated 20 to 25 lakh visitors each day, creating a blend of cultural celebration, artistic grandeur, and community engagement.

Featuring the traditional Shola work on its outer design, the installation highlights Bengal’s artisanal heritage, while the inner circles illuminated with Ujjivan SFB’s logo. Complementing this, an 8ft x 8ft engagement stall inside the pandal, hosts interactive games and lead-generation activities.

Commenting on this initiative, Lakshman Velayutham, Chief Marketing Officer of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, said, “At Ujjivan we believe in being a part of the communities we serve in. On the occasion of Durga Puja, Ujjivan through this landmark Chandmala installation, aims to celebrate Bengal’s rich heritage, reflected in its rich and kaleidoscopic hues and Dhunuchi Naach.”
