Ibis Kolkata Rajarhat recently celebrated the spirit of the Bengali New Year with the launch of its Poila Baisakh Special Thali. The event was marked by a delightful gathering, where guests came together to enjoy the warmth of the season and the rich flavours of traditional Bengali cuisine.
The specially curated thali, priced at INR 1199+ taxes, is available from 9th to 15th April between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. It features an array of authentic dishes such as Bhetki Fish Fry with Kashundi, Vegetable Chop, Luchi, Bengali Fried Rice, Kosha Mangsho, Chicken Lonka Bata, Prawn Malai Curry, Aloo Posto, and desserts like Rosogolla, Mishti Doi, Sondesh, and Mishti Paan.
The launch event was graced by model Madhabilata Mitra, folk music singer Dipanwita Acharya and many well-known celebrities who added a festive and cultural charm to the evening along with Amita Mishra, General Manager of Ibis Kolkata Rajarhat.
Speaking on the occasion, Amita Mishra said, “Poila Baisakh is a time of joy and tradition. We wanted to create a menu that captures the essence of Bengali culture. The Poila Baisakh Special Thali is our tribute to the vibrant flavours of Bengal, and we are thrilled with the love and appreciation it has received from our guests.
