The spirit of healing, compassion and social responsibility took centre stage as the 3rd Annual Edition of The Global Healers Awards 2026 was held at The Krystal – The Luxury Banquet, Kolkata. The prestigious awards, envisioned by renowned PR expert, social activist and event designer Shagufta Hanaphie and presented by globally acclaimed philanthropist Sri Bharat J. Mehra, celebrated exceptional individuals who are transforming lives through wellness, mental health, sustainability, education and humanitarian service.
Recognised as Eastern India’s first dedicated platform honouring champions of holistic healing and wellness, The Global Healers Awards has become a unique initiative that brings together therapists, doctors, psychologists, educators, environmentalists, NGOs, authors and community leaders under one roof to acknowledge their remarkable contribution to society.
The initiative was conceptualised and curated by Shagufta Hanaphie, Founder of The Global Healers, and is organised under the banner of SHE – Shagufta Hanaphie Events. The movement is further strengthened by the support of Alok Foundation and Swastya Holistic Healing Center, who have joined the initiative as Lifetime Members.

The event was presented by Sri Bharat J. Mehra, a distinguished businessman, corporate strategist, technocrat, astromancer and philanthropist. Founder of Bharat Mehra Strategies, he is widely recognised for providing strategic corporate consultancy to leading organisations across India and the Middle East. He also serves as Chief Advisor to Mr. Anant Ambani and Mr. Ajay Piramal, making him one of the most respected names in the corporate advisory space.
