Piklu, a film which has a young girl in the lead role in the form of Pavi Roychoudhury will be released soon after a special screening at Nandan 3 on 15th March . The film clearly wants to convey a message of never neglect your family at the cost of achieving your financial success and running after money before it is too late to realize what may befall you ..
The film is nearly 8 years old and had got stuck due to some issues but will now release after a special screening at Nandan 3 on 15th March where the release date will be announced subject to availability of shows at theatres .

Pavi Roychoudhury who plays Piklu is an established child artist now having acted in films like Bhalobashar Golpo(directed by Raja Sen), O Mon Bhromon(directed by Raajhorshee De) and Amish(directed by Arunava Khasnobis). Piklu happens to be her debut film but will release now and has also acted in serials like Ramprasad and Anurager Chowa(both Star Jalsha ) and Mongolmoyee Ma Shitala(Sun Bangla). She has also appeared in reality shows like anchoring on/in Dance Bangla Dance Junior 2018,Bijoya Boithok,Dada Giri and Didi No 1 (All Zee Bangla ),Fungama and Khude Rannabati in Rongeen TV.
Rahul, Debika Sengupta , Samrat Mukherji, Tulika Basu, Biswajit Chakraborty and Priyaance comprise the other members of the cast. The film has been directed by Partha D.Mitra who has also written the story . It has been produced by Silverline Motion Pictures and presented by Shantinath Mohanto. . Rana Dasgupta is the DOP and Pijush Ghosh is the editor. The music is by Swagata Dey, Soumitra Kundu and Rabindranath Tagore. The lyrics are by Rabindranath Tagore, Swagata Dey and Partha.D.Mitra.
This is a tale of a family and their daughter and the repercussions that it has on their daughter and their lives after a particular incident. Arko and Antara love each other. They are extremely ambitious with their

career. After marriage, Antara sacrifices her career to devote time towards the family,but Arko is highly professional in his career and refuses to devote any time and eventually even Antara rejoins work leaving their daughter in the hands of a governess who tries her best to raise the child but the child is deeply affected emotionally because of this neglect.

Arko slowly gets detached from his family and even after an incident, Arko does not change his life style.Good relations get broken slowly, and their daughter suffers because of that. One day Piklu is physically assaulted by several people after being kidnapped, and then Arko and Antara realize their mistake especially Arko but it is too late as her health worsens in the hospital after being admitted and eventually passes away . In life, time is precious and everyone is running after money ,but don’t do anything at the cost of your family’s well-being .Don’t live alone.
