‘International Boy Child Day’, observed annually on May 16th, is a time to recognize the importance of boys’ well-being and the challenges they face, while also celebrating the positive contributions they make to the family and society on the whole.

“World Boy Child Day” was commemorated by ABMF and AIBMF (ALL BENGAL MEN’S FORUM and All India Boys & Men’s Forum) at Kolkata Press Club on 16th May eve. We must work together to create a society where boys can reach their full potential and feel safe.
In this dynamic era, the crucial issue of gender discrimination has been coming up since long ago.
Set aside some time on this day to focus on the well-being of boys in the family, in the classroom, in community groups and more,” commented MRA Nandini Bhattacharjee.

International Boys’ Day offers a time to show appreciation for and celebrate the strengths and joys that go along with being a boy, not in competition with girls, but in tandem with them. This day is to encourage families to spend time with their sons, grandsons and young boys, to enjoy partipating in doing things they love and create memories. Theme of this year:- Building Self-esteem in Boy’s. Stand Up, Be Seen, Be Heard.
