With over 7,000 registered alumni and 33 chapters across India and internationally, including the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, Singapore, and Dubai, SOBA represents one of the country\u2019s most active and service-oriented school alumni networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions during the conclave focused on the education policies of India, building leaders of tomorrow as well as long-term initiatives to support the School\u2019s academic and institutional growth. The panel announced that SOBA is spearheading a landmark initiative to establish a Planetarium at The Scindia School, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to experiential and inquiry-driven and science-led learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ajay Singh, Principal, The Scindia School,<\/em> said, \u201cThe Scindia School\u2019s strength lies in the continuity of values across generations. Our alumni remain deeply invested in the School\u2019s growth, and initiatives emerging from SOBA reflect a shared commitment to holistic, future-ready education. Such engagement reinforces the enduring bond between the School and its alumni.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Mr. Mitul Dikshit, President, SOBA, shared,<\/em> \u201cSOBA\u2019s strength comes from the collective leadership of its chapters and the shared sense of responsibility among Scindians worldwide. Our focus goes beyond nostalgia. We are committed to institution-building, social impact, and supporting The Scindia School in ways that are meaningful, sustainable, and aligned with its values.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Hosting the conclave in the city, Mr. Arun Kumar Bhagat, President, SOBA Kolkata Chapter, said<\/em> , \u201cThe Presidents\u2019 Conclave reflects the depth and maturity of SOBA as an organisation. It is a platform for dialogue, alignment, and collective decision-making, ensuring that alumni efforts across chapters remain impactful and purpose-driven.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Mr. Darshan Dudhoria, SOBA Member, Former Headboy of The Scindia School, and CEO, Indian Silk House Agencies, said<\/em> , \u201cThe Scindia School instills values that stay with you long after you leave the classroom. The Presidents\u2019 Conclave is a reminder of how strongly alumni remain connected to the institution and committed to contributing to its future.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conclave also reaffirmed pride in the School\u2019s distinguished alumni, which include Mr. Vikram Misri, Foreign Secretary, Government of India; Mr. Rajendra S. Pawar, Padma Bhushan awardee and Founder Chairman of NIIT Ltd.; Mr. Salman Khan; Mr. Ashok Gajapathi Raju; and filmmaker Mr. Anurag Kashyap, among others who have made notable contributions to public life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the guidance of its Board led by HH Maharaja Jyotiraditya Scindia, The Scindia School continues to nurture ethical, globally minded citizens.
