Braithwaite & Co. Limited (BCL), a ‘Miniratna-I’ CPSE under the Ministry of Railways, celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at its Corporate Office, Kolkata Works, Angus Works and various site offices.
The celebrations at corporate office commenced with the singing of the National Song ‘Vande Mataram’, followed by the unfurling of the National Flag (Tiranga) by Shri Naveen Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director, in the presence of Shri Sanjeev Rastogi, Director (Production), senior officials, employees and guests. The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Naveen Kumar, CMD, highlighted BCL’s achievements, expanding business verticals and the company’s growing role in strengthening the nation’s railway and industrial infrastructure. He also called upon employees to work collectively with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency.
Independence Day celebrations were held at Angus Works and BCL’s other units and project sites, where employees participated with enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
