1st CT Scan unit of 96 Slice installed at Century old SVS Marwari Hospital

MSP Foundation, the CSR division of Kolkata based MSP Steel and Power recently donated a CT Scan unit to SVS Marwari Hospital, Kolkata in the presence of Mr. Puranmal Agarwal, Mr. Suresh Agrawal, Trustee, MSP Foundation, Mr. Dinesh Kumar Seksaria, President &Trustee of SVS Marwari Hospital and all the members of SVS Marwari Hospital. MSP foundation will be responsible for maintaining the unit on a regular basis.
Set up in 1919, SVS Marwari Hospital which is more than 105 years old has a very strong connect with India’s freedom movement. The hospital which runs on donations and treats patients at a nominal cost was built by five Marwari businessmen in 1919 for providing better treatment to the Indians during freedom movement.
SVS Marwari hospital has been providing advanced healthcare facilities to the people at an affordable cost for more than a century. MSP Foundation is proud to contribute to contribute in a small way for the cause of mankind, society at large by helping the hospital in setting up 1st CT scan unit and enabling the hospital to provide more advance treatment to the patients.

The new CT scan unit will cater to the ongoing exigencies for treating patients requiring special care. The foundation will be taking care of maintain the new unit. MSP Foundation aims to provide quality health care to the needy people of the society.
Mr. Dinesh Kumar Seksaria, President & Trustee SVS Marwari Hospital expressed his gratitude to MSP Foundation for coming forward and joining hands with hospital in setting up the new CT scan facility in the hospital which was not available earlier. He also stated that with the CT scan facility, the hospital will now be in much better position to provide more advanced treatment to the patients at a subsidised cost.
